Reliant Email
Congratulations! You have been set up with a Reliant email address.
Logging in
- Go to mail.reliant.org or any Google sign-on page, such as gmail.com
- User: firstname.lastname@reliant.org
- Password: Reliant12345
- This user name is also your login for other Google products, including Google Drive.
About your Reliant email
- This your official email address for Reliant. We use it to verify your identity, so you must use it to send information to us (benefits, pay, policies, etc.)
- You are responsible for information sent here.
- Many field staff will also use a local church address for ministry. Great!
- Which address should you use for MTD? It's your choice. Based on your mission, either your @local ministry or @Reliant address works well to communicate with donors. It's not recommended to use a personal address (e.g. cardinalsfan6@aol.com).
How to use multiple email accounts
Multiple accounts in a shared inbox
See all your email in the same inbox, but your accounts stay separate
- Send messages from any account
- Easy to set up on different platforms.
Advantages
- This is likely your best option to configure multiple email addresses on your phone.

Check Accounts Separately
- If you choose this option, make sure to check your Reliant email so you don't miss important information.
- This is a good option for using gmail on your computer.
Forward all accounts to a primary inbox
- Forwards emails received by your Reliant email address to a different account.
Disadvantages
We don't recommend this option because it does have a few disadvantages:
- It permanently puts messages in one inbox (and this can't be undone).
- It only forwards new mail.
- You need to set up your "Send As" feature so you can send as Reliant.org when needed. This is difficult to do with Google right now.
Reliant Username
Your Reliant username is a universal login to all Reliant sites including:
We have created (or changed, if you had a Reliant username before) a Reliant username on your behalf: firstname.lastname@reliant.org (same as the email address you just set up).
Although your Reliant username is the same as your email login, it's important to note that your Reliant.org email and Reliant username are two separate things and can have different passwords. Your Reliant email gives you access to your email and Google Drive. Your Reliant username gives you access to Reliant.org and Toolbox.
Setting up your Reliant username
- Log in to Reliant.org
- Go back to your Reliant email account to verify your Reliant.org account.
- Open the email just sent from Reliant and click the verification link inside.
- Now you should be logged in at Reliant.org.
