The MTD printed presentation starts as a Google slide deck on your computer. If you have not already followed the instructions for how to create your Google Slide presentation, please go here first. MTD Presentation on Google Slides
The Google Slide template allows you to easily add your digital photos, add and edit text, and rearrange slides as you write, practice, and edit your story. The slides then can be exported to make your printed, spiral-bound photo book. Our 8.5" by 5.5" wire-bound book is similar to photo books ordered from Shutterfly or other popular photo sites. Follow the instructions on this page to begin preparing your Google Slides for print.
There are several differences between the printed presentation and the digital presentation. We suggest making a copy of the digital Google presentation slides to edit for correct printing. There are a few critical differences in the Google Slides of a digital versus a printed version of the presentation. Therefore, we suggest you make a copy of your presentation specifically for printing after you have customized it with your specific information. Here are some key differences between the types of presentations in the google slides to remember. Some pictures are shown alone (Cover, Page 2, Final Page, Back cover) The rest of the slides in the middle are in pairs of two (3&4, 5&6, etc.) You may hide specific slides that appear to be more of a "filler page." Filler pages are needed to make the layout work properly Financial Ask, Connecting with Others Ask, and Prayer Ask are accomplished with two slides.Digital Presentation Printing a Presentation Each slide is shown individually Financial ask, "Connecting with Others" Ask, and the "Prayer" Ask can all be accomplished with one slide. Slide size can be changed for presentation (such as widescreen for projection, etc.) Slide size has to be 8.5 x 5.5 for printing.

Take a look at this sample presentation album for printing for a better idea of what your presentation will look like. Notice that the "Filler Pages" that you might have hidden for your digital presentation is needed to keep the layout for the photo album.
Steps For Preparing to Print
If you intend to export your Google slide deck to create a physical book, we suggest making a new copy of your Google slide deck, as you will need to pay attention to the order of pages. It's very helpful to know that odd pages will be on the left the even pages are going to be on the right. Pages 2 & 3 SLIDE 1 will be the front cover of your presentation. (This is a laminated spiral-bound softcover book.) There is no slide here, but imagine there is a phantom page between the cover and the 2nd page in google slides. The inside of the front cover will be a nice black page, protecting the cover wrap. The "This is us" page (which will be your second google slide) will be the first thing you see when you open the book (it will be the first page on the right.) We prefer that you keep slides 17 and 18 exactly as they are.Arranging the Pages for a Photo Book

Slide 2 Page 1 (this will be the first page in your album, and it will be printed on the right side of the book) Slides 3 & 4 Slides 5 & 6 Pages 4 & 5 You can add extra picture pages, etc., but we want the "ASK" slides to be kept in the order shown below, so please review how the pages will land when printed if you add or delete slides from the original template.
