During a ministry worker's career with Reliant, he or she may experience a variety of changes. It is the worker's responsibility to notify Reliant of any changes prior to them happening. These include:
- Contact Info Change Form - US
- MTD Statuses
- Release to Assignment after Initial MTD
- Changes in Field Staff Statuses (number of hours)
- Changes in Role, Responsibilities, or Job Description - See Employment Changes
- Changes in Ministry Assignment, Location, Supervisor, or MTD Coach - See Employment Changes
- Marriage and Changes in Family Status
- Becoming Working with Reliant as a Commissioned or Ordained Minister
- Leave of Absence
- Exiting Employment
Many of these changes are made through the Employment Changes.
Any of these changes can trigger changes in pay, benefits, tax obligations, or a host of other factors. As soon as an employee is aware that a change is pending, he or she should contact the Reliant program liaison for guidance.
Any change that will affect payroll must be communicated to Reliant by the 16h of each month.
Changes During Initial MTD
While staff are in Initial MTD, they can choose to be employed or to raise funds as an Associate Volunteer. To move from being an Associate Volunteer to a paid employee requires notifying the Reliant program liaison of your desire to be hired.
Job Transfers
Employees may request a job transfer by submitting a written request to their supervisor and the Reliant program liaison. Requests for a job transfer will be considered based upon position openings and the applicant's qualifications for the position. Job transfer approval is within the sole discretion of Reliant.
