Oftentimes governments have tremendous resources to help during a crisis situation. Unfortunately, some governments also have their own competing priorities that don’t include the safety and well-being of our personnel. Because of this, Reliant's ICMT must be authorized with the decision on whether or not to notify governments of a crisis situation. In general, Reliant will work positively with government entities. On a case-by-case basis, the ICMT will have the authority to decide when and if they notify the US, host, or other government of a potential crisis situation. The International Crisis Manager is the only person in the company authorized to communicate with government agencies (home or host) in a crisis but may delegate this authority to another individual on the ICMT as deemed appropriate.
