Staff Member Accident, Injury, or Near-miss NotificationStaff members must report all accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to their supervisors and the Reliant Central Team. If a staff member (employee or associate) is involved in an accident or near-miss (a near-miss is defined as an event that could have caused injury to a person), either the staff member involved or a leader/supervisor must contact their Program Liaison as soon as possible (preferably within one business day if notification can't be made immediately). See below for contact information for each Program Team. If an employee is injured while performing ministry responsibilities on the weekend or after normal business hours, please email benefits@reliant.org to notify the Employee Services team. See Workers' Compensation Insurance page for guidance on seeking care for an injury or illness that may be a workers compensation claim. The Program Liaison and the Employment Services team will coordinate to ensure that the Reliant Central has all the information needed for our required record-keeping and, if applicable, Worker Compensation claims. Keep in mind that this may require a series of emails or phone calls to the staff member and the leader/supervisor. As the leader/supervisor, your cooperation and attention to the matter are greatly appreciated.
