This page is for Reliant U.S. career staff, fixed-term staff, and international staff with stateside coverage. International staff with international coverage have different benefits coverage and a separate Open Enrollment timeline. Reliant International Staff with international coverage will receive all Open Enrollment information sent directly to their Reliant email.

Important Dates

Open Enrollment for 2027 benefits selections will begin October 21, 2026, and all enrollment, changes, and waives must be submitted by November 4, 2026, using your Reliant email address.

These selections will be effective January 1, 2027.

What is Open Enrollment?

It is a time to consider if you would like to change, end, or continue your current benefit selections for the upcoming year and submit your choices.
It is a time to update your family status and information if anything has changed.
It is a time when you can activate and update your annual Cafeteria Plan payroll deductions such as HSA employee contributions, Vision Insurance, and Child-Care benefits.

Do I Have to Participate?

I want to continue my Cafeteria Plan deductions for 2027

Yes. If you want to continue making deductions for the new year or you are enrolling in any of our Cafeteria Plan offerings for the first time (HSA, Vision, Childcare), you must complete the 2027 Cafeteria Plan Enrollment Form. Your current Cafeteria Plan deduction selections only last through 2026.

I do NOT want to change my medical, dental, or voluntary life plans from what I currently have.

No. If you currently have medical, dental, or voluntary life insurance with Reliant and wish to make NO changes, updates, additions, or terminations, you do not need to complete the forms associated with these insurances. Your medical, dental, and voluntary life insurance selections roll into the new year if you don't make any changes. You may want to educate yourself on all the new information for 2026 Insurance coverage and rates before deciding, though.

Yes. You will need to participate if you need to submit a 2027 Cafeteria Plan Enrollment Form to select any of the Cafeteria deductions - HSA, Vision, Childcare. Your Cafeteria Plan deductions do not roll into the next year. (See question and dropdown below.)

I want to make changes to my medical, dental, or voluntary life coverage for 2027.

Yes. If you are making changes to your medical, dental, or voluntary life coverage. Examples: adding a spouse or child, removing a spouse or child, changing plans.

Yes. If you are a new enrollee in medical, dental, or voluntary life coverage. If you waived medical coverage in 2026 or did not elect optional dental or voluntary life coverage in 2026, but would like to enroll in 2027.

Yes. If you want to terminate your medical, dental, or voluntary life coverage for 2027.

I was hired in the last few months and already enrolled for 2027.

Yes. If you are making changes to your medical, dental, or voluntary life coverage. Examples: adding a spouse or child, removing a spouse or child, changing plans.

I waived medical coverage for 2026, and I want to continue waiving medical coverage in 2027.

No. If you waived GuideStone medical insurance for 2026 with a qualified waiver—which requires proof of other active medical coverage—your waiver will automatically carry over for 2026. No action is needed unless your other coverage ends or changes. Yes. If you are enrolled in our coverage, like dental, and want to change that coverage.

I am not hired yet.

No. Open Enrollment is only for the Reliant staff who are employed during the Open Enrollment period.

Yes. If your hire date is before November 4, 2026. (when Open Enrollment closes), You will need to participate in the 2027 Open Enrollment.

I need to participate. What do I do next?

Complete the steps listed below. Please reach out to your Program Team Liaisons if you have any questions. (You can find their detailed contact information at the bottom of this page.)

Read through the appropriate Solomon pages to learn all the new information about 2027 insurance coverage and rates.

Decide if you want to add, change, or terminate medical, dental, or voluntary life insurance for 2027. If so, please complete Step 3. If you do not wish to change, terminate, or add insurance for 2027, you do not need to submit any forms.

Also, consider which payroll deductions you want to choose for 2027 (such as HSA employee contribution, Vision insurance, and child-care benefit). If you wish to continue or enroll in any of these deductions, please complete Step 4.

If you would like to add, change, or terminate any insurance for 2027, please submit all appropriate forms that apply no later than November 4, 2026, using your Reliant email address.

If you need to change more than one type of coverage (for instance, medical and dental coverage), you must submit a separate form for each type.
