Health Savings Account
If you are enrolled in a GuideStone medical plan, then you are automatically eligible to open a Health Savings Account, also known as an HSA. Once the HSA is opened, Reliant will contribute a monthly amount depending on your plan level (whether you are enrolled as an individual, an employee plus a dependent, or a family). You can also choose to contribute to the HSA from your paycheck as a pre-tax deduction via the Cafeteria Plan Enrollment Form.
An HSA can be used to help cover any medical expenses, including but not limited to deductibles, prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, dental appointments, and much more. Contributing toward your HSA also lowers your taxable income. It's like having a little savings account specifically for your medical needs!
- First, you must register your account with Highmark.
- Follow the instructions to open your HSA account.
(You may need your member ID number or Social Security Number to register and open your HSA account.) - Once your account is opened and you can view your HSA Dashboard, send a screenshot of the dashboard to benefits@reliant.org.
Be sure to check any notifications or alerts that may ask you for more information. - Once the screenshot is sent, Benefits will begin monthly deposits into your HSA account.

Teladoc - https://www.guidestone.org/reliant
Teladoc is a virtual care program designed to help you receive care when you're too sick or busy to go see a doctor. You can download the Teladoc health app and register your account. You'll need your GuideStone member ID information to properly link your insurance to your TelaDoc account.
Once your medical account is linked to your Teladoc account, you'll have virtual access to:
- General Care
- Dermatology
- Mental Health
This is a great option for people who are suffering from minor colds or concerns, but don't want to expose others. For more emergency situations, you will still want to visit a hospital or urgent care. TelaDoc can also help with dermatology and mental health concerns as well!
For Teladoc, any deductible or copay is waived through 2024, so be sure to take advantage of this benefit today.

GuideStone's health app is called MyQ Health. You can sign up for the app and view plenty of wellness tools as well as have access to your personal account information.
The MyQ Health app provides access to:
- Your health insurance information
- Digital member ID card
- Quantum Health Care Finder (for finding providers in-network near you)
- Care Cost Estimator
- Various morewellness tools
