Group Basic Life coverage terminates on a missionary's Exit date or Loss of Eligibility Date. There is a Conversion Privilege, which means that you can convert your Group Basic Life Insurance to an Individual Whole Life Insurance Policy where you pay RSLI directly. The premiums will be greater than the group insurance rates that you had while you were on Reliant’s life insurance plan. For current RSLI rates call Customer Care at 1-800-351-7500.
If you would like to convert your group life insurance plan to an Individual Whole Life Insurance Policy, you have 31 days from your exit date to complete and submit the application linked below If you would like to convert your life insurance, please notify us at benefits@reliant.org immediately. Reliant will complete the top portion of the form as the policyholder and you will need to complete the Applicant portion of the attached RSLI Group Life Conversion Application.
