Considerations:

  • Reliant's salary brands are broad, allowing the local church or ministry the freedom to work within those broad boundaries of compensation to meet your local needs.
  • The salary bands are created based on a general cost of area equivalent to an average cost of living in the US.
  • If the cost of living in your area is higher than the national average, the local church and Reliant will work together to provide comparable ranges.
  • To compare these salaries with hourly wages, take the annualized salary and divide it by 2080 (52 weeks a year x 40 hours a week).
    • Ex. $32,000/year divided 2080 = $15.38/hour

Footnotes:

*Any salaries above require Reliant board approval

  1. Tom MaurielloDave Meldrum-Green and Sarah Swann, these will stay the same for 2017. This is for the Board packet for the August 2016 board meeting

  2. Mike Swann and Tom Mauriello I did not know that these Salary Ranges were going to be made public. I'm not sure this is in the best interest of Reliant to put these out on Solomon.

  3. It's easy to hide - what do you think Mike Swann - has it been helpful to have public in any way?

  4. I actually think it is super-helpful to have up there. Any thoughts on why we wouldn't?

    1. I'd love to hear your thoughts Mike Swann as to why it's super helpful. Tom Mauriello can we discuss this at our Monday's manager's meeting? I may just be old school....but it just seems strange to me...but this new millennial generation may be changing things....since info is so easily accessible via the internet now.  user-1a794

Dave Meldrum-Green throwing my .02 in here....I would imagine for this to be helpful the "cost of area adjustment category" 10%, 20% etc. should have a link to a page that indicates what locations fall into each %.

  6. Mike Swann, add a paragraph to this, explaining how it is set

  7. Mike SwannCJ White - Are these still accurate? And, should I update the Staff Level titles to the new ones?

    1. This is currently what we are using but I thought the salary ranges were being updated. If not I would love to having these salary ranges updated. Mike Swann are they being updated? Julie ThomasI would say in the meantime yes you could add the new staff level titles.

  8. Julie Thomas and CJ White - yes, a refresh of salary levels is on the docket (meaning I would like to do this as well.) However, we have not updated them yet, so these are what they are for now. If we are releasing this page, at least for now I would say Staff 4 (formerly Pastor/Minister/Field Manager 1).

    1. I added a new column. Eventually, we can get rid of the old names.

  9. Julie Thomas - can we add back in a drop-down with the old salary bands? Just for reference for folks

  10. Julie Thomas and CJ White - I added some context to the salary bands. Can you review this page and see if these additions are helpful?

    1. I made a couple edits to your additions. I'll go ahead and publish it, but CJ White can still give feedback.

  11. Great work on these changes. Julie Thomas
