Calling or texting a potential donor's phone is the fastest and most effective way to connect with people, but we understand that you might not have someone's phone number, but you do have their social media profile! In that case, use the scripts below as a starting point for reaching out to people via social media. Remember that on many platforms, if you are not "friends" or "following" or otherwise connected with someone, they may not see your message right away, so it may be helpful to enlist the help of others to track down a phone number.
