Reliant provides term life insurance that pays a specific benefit to a beneficiary, designated by the employee, in the event of the eligible employee's death. Full-time employees are eligible for coverage. Part-time employees who average less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for this benefit. Coverage begins the first day of the month following the month that eligibility began. Eligible employees may also purchase additional term life insurance through the voluntary term life program. Employees may change their beneficiary by notifying Missionary Resources and completing the necessary forms. Written verification of death within 90 days of the date of death is normally required by the insurance provider. Missionary Resources must be notified immediately in the event an employee dies. Specific information about this coverage may be found in the employee's certificate of group insurance provided by the insurance carrier or by calling the insurance company directly

The life insurance provider for Reliant Mission is RSLI. Group Life insurance is required for any missionary who works 30 or more hours a week. Voluntary Life insurance may be purchased in addition to the Group Life insurance that is required.
