In June 2024, nurse practitioners (NPs) will join the general medical practice to round out the historically M.D.-focused staffing model. This will enhance member choice, as they will be able to specify if they want to see a physician (M.D./D.O.) or the next available clinician (which may be an M.D./D.O. or NP).
