The government requires Reliant to verify that all new hires are eligible to work in the United States using a Form I-9 within 3 days after their start date. To ensure you are able and ready for your appointment, follow the 3 steps below! Once your appointment is scheduled, you will receive an email confirmation, an email reminder 24 hours prior to your appointment, along with a 24-hour & 1-hour text message reminder (if you input your phone number).

Note

How to best prepare for appointment:

  • Pre-upload Upload your documentation that before your appointment that you are using to verify your I-9 to your computer. You will still need to have it physically with you during your appointment. 
  • We highly suggest you use a computer with a built-in camera for your appointment versus a smartphone. This will ensure the appointment goes smoothly & you have enough bandwidth to handle the video conferencing app. If this is an issue, please contact your liaison or payroll@reliant.org; we will be happy to help discuss your options! 


Warning

Please note that if you do not have your valid original documents, you cannot have your I-9 verified during your appointment. You will need to reschedule for a time when you have physical access to your valid original documents.
