  1. Click on the "Supervisor Name"  box, and type in your full First and Last name.
  2. Open a Comment box for that cell using one of the options below.
    1. Select the "Supervisor Name" cell and use the shortcut CTRL+ALT+M or the Apple equivalent
    2. Right-click the "Supervisor Name" box and select "insert comment". 
    3. Select the "Supervisor Name" box and select the "Insert" menu, then "Insert Comment".

  3. Type in the comment box stating "I approve this (Insert type of request) for (Missionary Name)" and click the blue Comment button to submit your comment.

If you have a reliant.org email, you must use that account. If you do not, please use the primary email Reliant has on file, usually the email associated with your reliant.org log in. 

Send an email to the reliant.org inbox that requested the approval stating: "I approve this (Insert type of request) for (Missionary Name)".

You will receive an email to the email provided by the requesting missionary. This will include a link to the request information as well as a link to verify approval. Please review all information before approving the request.

Starting with January 2017 time cards, we have changed the way we ask for supervisor approval. Instead of receiving a PDF that you must then forward to Reliant with your approval, you will now simply enter your approval within the time card on Google Drive, which will alert the office of your approval. This process will be simpler for our hourly employees, their supervisors and our office staff.

Instructions for supervisor approval

  • At the end of each month, the hourly employee will submit the time card and create a comment asking you for supervisor approval.
  • Google will send you an email to notify you that your approval is needed. You can click the link in the email (below, in the yellow box), and it will take you directly to the supervisor approval area of the time card.

  • There is a statement that is automatically filled in for you. Right click and copy that statement. It is highlighted in yellow below and says, "I approve this time card for XX hours, including XX hours of overtime."

  • Click on the "Supervisor, enter your name here" blank, and a comment box will appear. Paste that statement in the comment box that says "Reply..." and then click the blue Reply button. (If you prefer, you can type the above statement instead.)

Note

In your comment, please make sure to include the hours and overtime hours you are approving and don't simply say "approved."

 

  • Also please enter your name in the "Supervisor, enter your name here" blank above.
