Info

The government requires Reliant to verify that all new hires are eligible to work in the United States using a Form I-9 within 3 days after their start date.

...

Please select the statement below that most describes your situation for details on what options are available to have your eligibility verified.

To ensure you are able and ready for your appointment, follow the 3 steps below! Once your appointment is scheduled, you will receive an email confirmation, an email reminder 24 hours prior to your appointment, along with a 24-hour & 1-hour text message reminder (if you input your phone number). At this appointment you will also be completing a Direct Deposit Form with your bank information so you be paid by Reliant.

If you have any questions about this process, or what is required if you need to reschedule your appointment, please email payroll@reliant.org. Thank you!

Note

How to best prepare for appointment:

  • Have your 4 digit Fund Number
    • If you don't know this number, please reach out to your liaison before your appointment.
  • Have your banking information ready to enter after you fill out your I-9
    • Routing Number
    • Account Number
    • Bank Address
    • Bank Phone Number
  • Scan/upload your documentation to your computer before your appointment that you are using to verify your I-9 . You will still need to have it physically with you during your appointment.
  • We highly suggest you use a computer with a built-in camera for your appointment versus a smartphone. This will ensure the appointment goes smoothly & you have enough bandwidth to handle the video conferencing app. If this is an issue, please contact your liaison or payroll@reliant.org; we will be happy to help discuss your options!

Warning

Please note that if you do not have your valid original documents, you cannot have your I-9 verified during your appointment. You will need to reschedule for a time when you have physical access to your valid original documents.

  • If you are unable to meet any one of the above requirements, we can digitally verify your eligibility to work in the United States, which the DHS will allow to suffice until the National Emergency Declaration is lifted. You must also notify Reliant as soon as you know when your stay at home orders will be lifted, so that we can set up a time for your documents to be reverified in person by a Reliant employee or other designated representative.
  • If you are able to meet all the requirements for the first option

If you can meet all the requirements listed above, please set up a 20-minute video appointment with the Benefits & Employment

For the second option, we will send you a separate DocuSign envelope with the I-9 and you will need to fill out the form and attach images of your verifying documents.
