Domestic employees covered by Guidestone's domestic insurance are also covered when receiving medical care outside of the United States. Instead of contacting Highmark for claims processing, contact BCBS Global Core about these coverages. To contact Global Core, use the number printed on the back of your medical card and have your identifying information available. |
Requesting a Travel Certificate
If you need proof of coverage outside of the United States (or a travel certificate) in order to travel to certain countries, please make sure to submit your request at least 2 weeks prior to your departure date.
Due to HIPAA regulations, neither Reliant nor GuideStone representatives can provide travel certificates to you.
Instead, you can request travel certificates provided to you directly from Highmark:
- Call 866-472-0924
- Have your member ID number with you
- Reference that you are on a GuideStone plan
