The Affordable Care Act (ACA) signed into law in 2010 requires health Plans plans to cover breastfeeding support and supplies.   The in-network provider of breast pumps for Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans is through CareCentrix, which uses a special support website and phone line for plan members to order Medela breast pumps.   If you want another brand of breast pump, you may need to contcat contact CareCentrix at 877-561-9910 to discuss your benefit options.
