Mental Health Care* In May 2024, board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioners (PMHNPs) will join our mental health network, expanding provider options for members. Much like Teladoc psychiatrists, PMHNPs will evaluate mental health status and symptoms, use diagnostic tools, order tests, interpret test results, and prescribe medications. Members will be able to specify whether they want to see a psychiatrist or prefer the next available appointment — which may be a physician (M.D./D.O.) or PMHNP. |
