  • All December gifts sent directly to you by donors must be received by Reliant by January 15. This is the final accounting deadline for 2018 "late checks" to be received in the Reliant office to be recorded as 2018 giving for tax-deduction purposes. This only counts for checks that were postmarked in 2018. (Our auditors check the postmark date on the envelope to prove the donation was mailed in 2018, so please save the envelope and mail it with the check!) Please check your mailboxes early in the new year for these types of gifts and immediately send them to Reliant to be received by the January 15 deadline.  
  • If you are mailing checks using a guaranteed delivery service for delivery on January 15th - please make sure you select the delivery option for early AM delivery or guaranteed delivery by 1:00 PM. To allow for sufficient processing time by our Gift Services team, Reliant will be unable to guarantee a 2018 gift date for packages containing 2018 checks received after 1:00 PM EST on January 15th. 
  • Deadline for any remaining 2018 reimbursements to be submitted to Reliant by 11:59 p.m. Eastern time. You must submit any remaining October, November or December 2018 reimbursements by this date. The normal three-month submission window does not apply during this time of year.
