All missionaries enrolled with GuideStone have access to use Teladoc, a cost-savings telamedicine service. Teladoc is a 24/7 live either online video chat or phone service offering non-emergency consultations with U.S. board-certified doctors. The convenience of Teladoc is that you never have to leave your home to see a doctor. And you You can even use your cell phone wherever and whenever to connect with a live video chat using the Teladoc mobile app. This is great when you are travelling and away from primary care physician.
Other things to consider:
- Health Saver (HSA) participants Participants will pay the full $40 doctor consultation fee until they have met their applicable Plan plan deductibles.
- Afterwards their consultation fee will be covered at the co-insurance level for the HS 1500 and the HS 3000.For the HS 5000, the participants pays the full $40 consultation fee until they reach their $5,000 or $10,000 Plan deductible, if applicable.
- This valuable cost-saving service is not intended to replace your relationship with your primary care physician.
