It starts with the cover (SLIDE 1)
Then imagine there is a phantom page in between the cover and the 2nd page in google slides. That is because the inside of the front cover will be a nice black page, protecting the cover wrap, making the “This is us” page the first thing you see when you open the book.
And then now again, this next one will be on the left side of the very last spread because the inside back cover is the same black page as the inside front cover:

It’s very helpful to know that the even pages are going to be on the right and the odd pages will be on the left
