Once a year the IRS requires that we remind our staff of all the great features provided to you in Reliant's 401(k) plan. Every year we provide you with the Safe Harbor Employee Notice. This notice highlights the benefits and details of Reliant’s 401(k) Plan.

The 401(k) Retirement Plan section of Solomon contains links to resources and helpful articles to help you prepare for retirement. However, if you would prefer to receive a paper copy of our Summary Plan Description - please email us as benefits@reliant.org and we can mail you a copy at any time.

The Reliant 401(k) Investment Committee encourages all 401(k) participants to log in to their Principal retirement savings accounts and make changes based on their preferences and retirement goals on an annual basis, at a minimum.

  1. user-abbc8 and Dave Meldrum-Green - Please take a look at this text for our Staffnet announcement and email.  The Solomon pages look a little funky with the text but we'll likely also attach to PDFs I'll create next week as the export option is a bit weird from Solomon.

  2. Dave Meldrum-Green user-abbc8 - I have updated the annual Safe harbor notice Solomon pages and attachments with the changes for the 2017 year.  I'm working with Chelsea to send this out.  I wanted you to be aware to read through if interested.

  3. user-b069a - this is ready to publish

  4. I've read through this and everything looks good! I only changed one word:

"2. All 401(k) participants that are auto-enrolled at $50 a month and who have not made any changes to their auto-enrollment, "

I changed it to "are" instead of "were" because there are likely many people who are currently auto enrolled at $50/month.

Other than that, it looks good!

  5. user-b069a - I realized i needed to approve thrse for you to see them to Publish.  My bad.  I approved the pages I changed.

    1. No problem - Once you do the official review on any page, I always get a notice to publish it. Just FYI, an extra step to comment is not needed.
