What's New for 2025?

Instructions for Participation

CHANGE - I am an International worker who is benefits eligible (PT30 or more) and wants to make changes to my coverage.

To change your current insurance, please select the button below and submit the Aetna Change Form no later than November 18, 2024, for coverage effective January 1, 2025.

I would like to ADD DEPENDENTS to my Aetna coverage.

I would like to REMOVE DEPENDENTS from my Aetna coverage.

If you would like to both add and remove dependents, please email benefits@reliant.org with the specific information of the changes you would like to make, and a team member will get back to you shortly.

ENROLL - I am an international worker who previously opted out or waived coverage but now wants to enroll in a health plan.

Any benefits-eligible worker who wishes to enroll in Reliant's employer-offered insurance may do so during Open Enrollment.

International workers have the right to opt out of Reliant's international insurance plan if they receive coverage from the National Health System of their host country. Reliant allows a one-time re-enrollment option for any employee who opted out; this opportunity is during Open Enrollment. For example, some workers may have enrolled in their national plan expecting good things, only to discover the national coverages were insufficient for their specific needs, especially while traveling in the United States.  Note: You cannot opt-out again once you re-enroll in the Reliant International Health Plan.

To enroll, select the button below and submit the Aetna Enrollment Form no later than November 18, 2024, for coverage effective January 1, 2025.

WAIVER - I am an International worker who has an approved waiver of coverage.

Great News! We are not re-collecting waivers during Open Enrollment going forward. International workers permitted by their partnering organization to waive Reliant's employer-offered insurance, your current waiver will carry over into 2025 and from now on.

  • Maintaining a waiver requires ongoing coverage offered to an ACA-allowed family member by their employer.
  • Loss of coverage means the Reliant worker who waived is required to enroll in coverage through Reliant.

If you believe you need to submit a waiver form, please contact international@reliant.org to confirm it is an approved waive, and the Benefits team will send you a waiver form.

Have specific questions about a more complicated or personal benefits situation?

The Benefits team understands that navigating insurance can be exceptionally confusing, especially if you have a lot of expected life changes coming up, like starting a new family.

You should always make your insurance selections based on your current insurance needs, not anticipated future changes.

However, if you want to talk with the Benefits Coordinator about future plans or gather more information, then you can always reach out to benefits@reliant.org.

Reliant cannot advise you on what selections you should make. Reliant can only provide you with information on possible options you can choose and the outcome of those options.
