One of the unfortunate side effects of living abroad, is that your taxes automatically become a little more complicated. The upside is there that can be some tax benefits. As your employer, we are not able to advise you on your taxes. However, we believe very strongly that you should receive consultation and help from tax professionals. Any associated fees will likely be made up in tax benefits and is a great way to steward your ministry funds.

Here are some benefits available to you to make professional tax services more affordable and accessible.


Free Consultation - Every International worker can contact one of the tax services below for a free consultation. We recommend doing this prior to launching overseas. However, even if you have been overseas for a while, it is never too late! A consultation does not require you to use a certain vendor for filing taxes.


$100 Tax Prep Benefit - Everyone who has their taxes prepared by a Tax Professional (not including online services like HR Block or Turbo Tax) will get $100 from Reliant! . You will need to send your receipt to international@reliant.org and we will transfer $100 into your MTD fund. Please make sure any accountant you use has experience with people living overseas.


Expense Recovery Bonus - You can submit your tax preparation fees on the International Expense Submission Form. Every employee is able to expense up to $500 per year for tax preparation.


Professional Referrals - Below are a couple of tax professionals who specialize in serving Cross-cultural workers and have been used by other Reliant International staff.
