General policy

As a non-profit Christian ministry, Reliant is almost entirely funded via donations. All Reliant missionaries (with some exceptions, e.g. for administrative support staff) are required to engage in the fundraising process known as Ministry Team Development (MTD) or "support raising" on behalf of the ministry. The missionary solicits funds on behalf of Reliant from individuals, families, churches, businesses and other donors. All contributions, whether cash, tangible property, or assets of any kind, are the sole property of Reliant and not the fundraiser. These funds are to be used exclusively in fulfilling the ministry purposes of Reliant. All funds are controlled by Reliant and its Board of Directors.

Policies here pertain to all deputized fundraisers for Reliant, including employed missionaries, qualified volunteers (“Associate Staff”) and affiliated project fundraisers.
