Reliant knows that travel is a part of the life and ministry of a Reliant missionary. As an added benefit to our missionaries, we have a variety of basic travel assistant services that are available free of charge to the missionary. There are three travel assistance options. More information is available below. You are free to use whatever service you are most comfortable with and meets your needs.

RSLI Travel Assistance

This service will provide you or a member of your family 24-Hour Travel Assistance Services when traveling more than 100 miles from home or in a foreign country. It includes pre-trip assistance, emergency medical transportation, emergency personal services and other medical services. This can all be accessed through a toll-free contact number. It also includes a Travel Assistance Card you can carry with you for emergencies.

This is a value added service provided to you without you having to do a thing.  It is from the same provider (RSLI), who also supports our Group Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Plan, our Long-Term Disability Insurance Plan, and our Voluntary Life Insurance offerings. It is available to all benefits-eligible Reliant employees.

Highmark Global Core Medical Insurance for Overseas Travel

Info

Domestic employees that are covered on Reliant's GuideStone medical insurance plan are also automatically covered worldwide for overseas travel and therefore do not need to buy supplemental travel medical trip insurance. However, domestic employees covered by GuideStone, will need your Highmark BCBS card info available when contacting Global Core. Please see Highmark Global Core Medical Insurance information below for more details on how to file a claim online.

Employees covered by Reliant's GuideStone Medical Insurance can use Highmark's Global Core network for medical expenses while overseas.

When receiving medical care outside of the US the plan switches from being covered by Highmark's BCBS services to the BCBS Global Core plan through GuideStone. With Global Core, any doctor or facility is considered in-network. If the employee were to go to a doctor or facility on the in-network provider list, the doctor or facility would submit the member claim and Global Core will guarantee payment. If the employee went to a doctor or facility not on the list, it is still treated as in-network but the employee would have to pay at the time of service and submit the claim manually to be reimbursed. Visit www.BCBSGlobalCore.com for instructions.

See Medical Insurance for more details.
