Your local church or ministry may realize a need to raise ministry funds for start-up costs for a new church plant, special outreach events, or even unplanned facility and maintenance needs or other ministry expenses that are not able to be covered through an annual operating budget. One of Reliant's missions is to help with project support raising for local churches and ministries that they are partnered with. The Reliant Mission management and Board of Directors has a ministry project fundraising process that could be a helpful solution to your local church or ministry. Established Reliant partners are eligible to submit a request for a new Reliant project fund to establish a new fund.

Project funds are always in a ministry's name, never an individual's. However, project funds can be raised and used to provide salary support for a worker at your local church or ministry, or even a foreign national for an overseas project.

Ministry Project funds can be raised to be used for:

  1. Fund Transfers to any Reliant missionary MTD ministry account or another project account (see this Solomon page for information and the form)
  2. Funding of the reimbursement of ministry expenses (see this Solomon page for some guidelines). This reimbursement option is limited to Reliant employees only (who are eligible for our Accountable Reimbursement Plan).
  3. Ministry Grants to cover project or program expenses, or local worker salary support. You can request a special one-time grant or a monthly ongoing ministry grant, whichever might fit the funding need at that time. See Grant Process to get started.

Request a Project Fund

Established Reliant partners are eligible to submit a request for a new Reliant project fund to establish a new fund. Creation and maintenance of all project fund numbers go through a scrutiny process by Reliant management and Board of Directors. The New Project Fund Request form will gather all of the information the Board will need to determine the request. When finished completing the form, share it with projectfundraising@reliant.org for approval.
