For example, you can order the new We Are Reliant brochure shrink-wrapped in a pack of 50 with a few clicks, and the item is shipped from our vendor's warehouse.

Missionary Profile Card

We don't all work with the same ministries, and we know that donors need to have your local ministry and church front and center. The Missionary Profile Card is a core MTD piece designed to leave at every MTD appointment. Part leaving piece + calling card + How to Give brochure, you upload your own photos to this item, and CopyCat will print it for you with professional quality. 


If you have any issues with adjusting your photo to fit correctly into the missionary profile card (like for example into the watermark circle that is there to show you which section of the photo will show through the circle opening on the We are Reliant brochure) please email communications@reliant.org and we will be happy to assist in editing the photo for you. For the circle watermark photo on the right, it is best to use a photo that has some empty space on the left side of the picture since the placement of the photo on the missionary profile card is not centered.

When selecting photos for your missionary profile card, it's best to try to get the best resolution possible...

So you have a photo you like, but how do you know it's an OK size for print? Here are a couple tips for finding out photo size and resolution:


Eye Test!

First, try this... Look at the photo, does it look grainy or blurry? If yes, you may want to consider choosing a larger photo.

If it passess the eye test, click below for additional tips to see if this will be a good photo for you to use.

  3. Look for "Dimensions" under "More Info"
  4. Anything above 2000 pixels is probably a safe bet, but remember, if it's blurry on your screen, it could look even more blurry (not less!) on paper.

  5. 300 dpi (under horizontal and vertical resolution) is best... HINT: Facebook photos are only 72 dpi, which means the resolution is MUCH lower than ideal.

MTD Presentation Album

The MTD Presentation Album (sometimes we call it the MTD "Photo Album") is the visual storytelling aid that is essential to sharing your story. This high-quality, hardbound photo book is the new and upgraded edition of this item that all Reliant missionaries learned to use in their New Staff Training days. It walks through a familiar flow: the need, the answer to the need, and "I am Reliant; I can't do this alone."

Our wire-bound, 8.5" by 5.5" book is similar to photo books ordered from Shutterfly or other popular photo sites. Every page is custom designed by you (how to do it is below), and it easily lets you drop in digital photos of ministry, key facts to explain your mission field, and logos from your local church or network. Once created using google slides, you upload the PDF file to CopyCat for a matte-finish hardcover and glossy-photo interior pages that looks great whether you're sharing in a coffee shop, living room or a business office.

Before uploading your MTD presentation album to Copycat, make sure you have followed the directions on how to create your MTD Printed Presentation.

titleHow to upload your album to copy cat

First, share your template with communications@reliant.org. They will review and approve your presentation to look for any issues before you move forward with the printing process. 


Note

Remember the printed version of the google slide has a few key differences than the digital version. See Layout & Pages Help for MTD Printed Presentation for those differences before uploading.  

To upload your presentation to CopyCat you will need to export your Google Slide presentation to PDF



  1. Export to PDF. Use File > Download As... > PDF Document. It will save to your computer.

  2. Open the PDF and view each page to ensure it looks right.
    1. Looks good? You're ready to order
    2. Find an "X" on a page? This can be due to an image that had a technical problem.
      1. Try the export again.
      2. Find the offending page and see if the image size can can be reduced. Very large images can break the export. Export again.

Order Your Book from Reliant "CopyCat"

  1. On CopyCat: Complete an Order for the MTD Presentation Album. Use steps to Add to Cart and "checkout." including adding your shipping information.

  2. Upload your PDF at the checkout stage by clicking "Add File" under the last column, "Actions"
  3. Fill out shipping and billing information
  4. Place order
  5. File is reviewed by Reliant designer to make sure it will print correctly for you. If you have shared the google doc with communications@reliant.org prior to printing for them to already review, there should not be any issues found in this review. However, if there are issues discovered we can not edit the presentation in Copy Cat. You will need to edit in google slides and re-export. The Reliant designer will cancel the original order and you will need to create a new order to upload the changes back into copy cat once approved.
  6. Book delivered in 7 to 14 days

Please note: If you're using the green Fixed Term resident/intern/apprentice/fellow slide deck it is not designed for printing with copy cat, but instead designed to be digital presentation only.
