Steps to Reduce Probability and Consequences
- Practice situational awareness (Color Codes for Situational Awareness) and communicate routinely with the team leader
- Be prepared to activate other contingency plans if situations arise
- If additional contingencies occur, strongly consider immediate Evacuation

Crisis Resolution Protocol
- As soon as you are able, begin documenting all events. Eventually, move all documentation to the Tracking Log created by Reliant and shared with you for this incidentand gathering information
- Contact Reliant to report the incident: Crisis Reporting for International Incident
- Reliant will reach out to receive more details and complete an Initial Crisis Reportfor their internal crisis report. Eventually, Reliant will share a Tracking Log with you to continue to document details communication tracking log that will also serve as a way to communicate new updates with all parties involvedfor team leaders and Shared Crisis Authority and Responsibility in Reliant Partnerships to all view communication updates between Reliant and the field team member
- Determine the location and status of all personnel that might be affected
- The Team Leader will assign personnel to investigate the incident, establish a time frame for when the reported offense occurred, and confirm their activities leading up to the incident and locations they might have visited recently. These personnel should locate and contact any witnesses that might have observed the incident
- Record any injuries using the Victim Information Form shared with you by ReliantReliant who will document victim information on their report
- Contact the nearest Embassy and Consulate Assistance
- If there are any missing persons, simultaneously follow the Contingency PlanPlanning: Missing Person
- Activate Shelter in PlaceProtocols Protocols starting with a lockdown of team facilities with a mandated curfew for all personnel until further notice
- If possible attempt to Evacuation Evacuate or relocate to Places of RefugeClose the incident with a detailed report of all events and steps taken (especially if the individual was removed prior to completion of the team)
