Reliant knows that travel is a part of the life and ministry of a Reliant missionary. As an added benefit to our missionaries, we have a variety of basic travel assistant services that are available free of charge to the missionary. There are three travel assistance options. More information is available below. You are free to use whatever service you are most comfortable with and meets your needs.

RSLI Travel Assistance
This service will provide you or a member of your family 24-Hour Travel Assistance Services when traveling more than 100 miles from home or in a foreign country. It includes pre-trip assistance, emergency medical transportation, emergency personal services and other medical services. This can all be accessed through a toll-free contact number. It also includes a Travel Assistance Card you can carry with you for emergencies.

When receiving medical care outside of the US the plan switches from being covered by Highmark's BCBS services to the BCBS Global Core plan through GuideStone. With Global Core, any doctor or facility is considered in-network. If the employee were to go to a doctor or facility on the in-network provider list, the doctor or facility would submit the member claim and Global Core will guarantee payment. If the employee went to a doctor or facility not on the list, it is still treated as in-network but the employee would have to pay at the time of service and submit the claim manually to be reimbursed.
