Any of these changes can trigger changes in pay, benefits, tax obligations, or a host of other factors.  As soon as a missionary an employee is aware that a change is pending, he or she should contact the Reliant program liaison for guidance.

Changes During Initial MTD

While missionaries staff are in Initial MTD, they can choose to be employed or to raise funds as an Associate Volunteer.  To move from being an Associate Volunteer to a paid employee requires notifying the Reliant program liaison of your desire to be hired.
