- Log on to Highmark - https://www.highmarkbcbs.com/home/
...
- (enter your sign in information so that “Hi (name) ” appears in the upper right corner of the screen
- Click on Claims and Spending
- Click the Blue Button in the middle of the page – Access Spending Account
- Click on My Accounts – Select: My Account Summary
Select: Contributions
Note You’ll first have to Link a bank account that you want to transfer funds from into the HSA account
- Select: Add Bank Account
- Complete the required fields and Submit

Once you have added the bank account(s) you have to go through a validation process that will take 1-3 business days. Highmark will make 3 small transactions of less then $1 each. You can see this process under the Bank Accounts section

Once you see 3 transactions in your bank account from “HSA PNCCUSTODIAN MICROTRANS” you’ll need to log on to Highmark and follow the same set of prompts to get to the bank account screen (shown above) the . The “Pending Validation” status will have changed to “Validation Required”.
You’ll then be able to select "Add Contribution" and make arrangements to transfer funds from your bank account in to the HSA account
