If a donor mails an end-of-year check directly to you , you must directly, please be sure to save the envelope and send it in with the check. The December 2021 postmark on the envelope serves as proof that it is a 2021 donation. If a check is dated in 2021donor's envelope must be included with any checks mailed to Reliant by the missionary. If the envelope is postmarked in December 2024, we can count the donation as a 2024 gift. If the check is dated 2024, but the postmark on the envelope is 20222025, that will not count we will process the donation as a 2021 2025 gift. Please check your mailboxes early in the new year for these types of gifts and immediately send them to Reliant. They to Reliant as soon as you can. All 2024 gifts must be received by January 1210, 20222025, to be included with 2021 gifts.IMPORTANT - With the added volume of checks being processed at the end of the year, checks dated 2021 received past December 31, 2021, which are NOT accompanied by a postmarked envelope will be processed as a 2022 donation. Reliant will not contact the missionary regarding 2021 checks which are missing the 2021 post-marked envelope. This responsibility will rest with the missionary to understand the requirement of the 2021 post-marked envelope and include the donor's envelope when mailing the check to Reliantin 2024 donations. |

Check Check donors who want to count their gift as a tax deduction in 2021 2024 need to mail their check, so it's postmarked by December 31, 20212024. Please see the pink information box at the top of this page for additional requirements for 2021 2024 checks to be received by Reliant and counted towards 2021 2024 giving statements.

December 2021 2024 check gifts received after this cutoff (but received by the January 12 10 deadline) will still be counted as December gifts, but they will be reserved and used toward the balance available to pay your February 1514, 2022, 2025 paycheck.

- All December gifts sent directly to you by donors must be received in the Reliant office by January 1210. This is the final accounting deadline for 2021 2024 "late checks" to to be recorded as 2021 2024 giving for tax-deduction purposes. This only counts for checks which were were postmarked in 20212024. (Our auditors check the postmark date on the envelope to prove the donation was mailed in 20212024, so so please save the envelope and mail it with the check!) Please check your mailboxes early in the new year for these types of gifts and immediately send them to Reliant to Reliant to be received by the January 12 10 deadline.
- If you are mailing checks using a guaranteed delivery service for delivery on January 12 10 - please make sure you select the delivery option for early AM delivery or guaranteed delivery by 1:00 PM. To allow for sufficient processing time by our Gift Services team, Reliant will be unable to guarantee a 2021 2024 gift date for packages containing 2021 2024 checks received after 1:00 PM EST on January 1210.
- Deadline for any remaining 2021 2024 reimbursements need to must be submitted to Reliant by 11:59 p.m. PM Eastern time. You must submit any remaining October, November, or December 2021 2024 reimbursements by this date. The normal standard three-month submission window does not apply during this time of year.

We will use the full MTD account balance available for payment, which includes any additional December 2021 2024 gifts which were received by January 1210. Please keep in mind Reliant may only pay reimbursements once a missionary has received all outstanding backpay.
