When to Notify Reliant of a Move
Employees must notify Reliant of a permanent address change within fourteen Employees must officially notify Reliant of address changes within fourteen (14) days of the change. The form to submit is the Personal Information Change Notification Form. moving.
Taxes Related to Permanent Residence
As your employer, Reliant has the responsibility to withhold and report the correct federal, state, and local taxes on your behalf. Failure to notify Reliant of a change in address can may result in overpaid and or underpaid taxes , among other problems and penalties for the missionary personallyemployee. Reliant Reliant will not be responsible for mis-incorrectly paid taxes if the missionary employee fails to provide full information of about the address change.
Informing Reliant of a move needs to include the following information:
- Have you permanently changed you residence?
- New street address
- New city, state, zipcode
- Has your work location change?
- New Ministry address (with city, state, zipcode)
- New Assignment
- New Supervisor

Keep in mind, when a missionary is changing addresses, it may mean other life changes as well. Check out the other potential changes below for ones that might apply to your current transition.
There are many changes that a missionary experiences where there is lee-way to inform us of that change. A change of address is different. It is absolutely urgent and important for Reliant to have actual information before the change happens.

With a change in permanent residence, you may need to fill out new tax forms. We will review your address and determine what taxes we need to withhold. After our review, we will notify you of any new tax forms we need to collect. If we do not receive these forms, we will withhold the default amount, which may be more or less than your actual tax responsibility.
