The Master Grant Agreement is located within the Church/Project Fund Request Form and is not a form on its own. Below is just documentation of what is on the agreement within the request form. |
MASTER GRANT AGREEMENT
The Master Grant Agreement (hereinafter referred to as "Agreement") is between RELIANT MISSION a tax-exempt nonprofit corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Reliant") and _______([Partner name fills in from answer above)]__________________________ (hereinafter referred to as "Partner"), who is represented by ____([Fund Custodian name)]__________________ who has been appointed by the Partner to act on behalf of the Partner as the Fund Custodian (as defined in the applicable Reliant Policy and Standards). Terms of the Agreement refer to applicable Reliant policies and standards, particularly the Funds and Grant-Making Policy for Churches and Projects, Church and Project Fund Standard, and Grant-Making Standard.
- The Fund Custodian has been appointed and previously approved to sign on behalf of the Partner.
- Authorized Signer(s) listed on the request form above has/have been authorized by the Partner to approve transfers, reimbursements, grants, and other payments from the requested fund.
- Partner may appoint Affiliate Fundraisers (as defined in the applicable Reliant Policy and Standards) who to function as deputized fundraisers on behalf of the fund.
- Partner agrees with, Fund Custodian, and others with responsibility related to the Fund have read, and will adhere to the Funds and Grant-Making Policy for Churches and Projects, Church and Project Fund Standard, and Grant-Making Standard, all applicable Reliant policies and standards, particularly those listed (with links) above.
- Fund Purpose: Reliant and Partner agree that the fund will be used for this purpose: _____(auto fill from answer)___________________________________ (the next part populates if yes to designated grantees) and to further the purpose of the fund, these ministry activities will take place by the Designated Grantees ____(auto fill from answer)_________________________________________. Grants cannot be used for any purpose other than those listed in the Fund Request Form and approved by Reliant. Therefore, grants distributed from the fund must be used consistent with the agreed-upon purpose of the fund. Reliant will may refuse any requested grants that are requested if it determines that the grant is if Reliant deems the requests are not in line with the approved purpose of the associated church/project fund. If the purpose of the church/project fund changes, an addendum to change the purpose outlined in this Agreement is required and must be signed by both parties.
- The Fund Custodian and Partner agree to supply Reliant with semi-annual reports of how grant monies were used, including documentation of expenditures consistent with Reliant's Grant-Making Standard. If reports are not supplied by their due date, Reliant may suspend further grants until past due reports and associated required documentation are submitted.
- Designated Grantees: Appoint no more than (# submitted on the form above) Designated Grantees to carry out the activities as outlined above. If the number range of designated grantees changes, an addendum to change the number range of Designated Grantees outlined in this Agreement is required.
