If a Reliant Staff Member gets into an accident with their personal vehicle or with a rental car while conducting Reliant ministry business, then:

1. Contact the rental car agency immediately
2. Obtain a local police report of the accident
3. Obtain the insurance information of the other party involved in the accident
4. Contact the Reliant Headquarters as soon as you are able, to inform them of the accident
5. Send a copy of your rental car agreement to Reliant
   * This will help us determine what coverages you purchased on your rental car.

6. Do not discuss the accident with anyone other than the police, the rental car agency, Reliant Office personnel, or our Reliant corporate insurance agent.

Financial Cost Note

FINANCIALCOST NOTE: Both Reliant’s mileage reimbursement rate and the local mileage Ministry Expense Bonus are set at levels which allow the Reliant Staff Missionary to purchase adequate auto insurance coverage for their personal vehicles that will be driven for Reliant ministry purposes.

Personal Travel Note

PERSONALTRAVELNOTE:For any non-ministry personal travel using your own vehicle, Reliant’s coverages obviously do not apply.
