Once the request is received by Reliant, we through our third party verification service, Verifent, Reliant will securely respond to your request as soon as possible, usually within 2-3 business days. Please see the applicable section below based on the type of verification your lender, apartment complex, other credit agency is that is being requesting. |
Verifications of Employment + Income
Verifications of an employee's past 3 years of income is a copmmon common request when employees are purchasing a home or refinancing a home. Reliant uses a third party verification service, Verifent, to ensure these requests are handled quickly, securely, and confidently and in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) standards.

Reliant understands that Verifications of Employment are important and we work hard to complete these in a timely manner. We understand that some lenders may not want to work with a third party verifier as they are pressed for time and are concerned that utilizing a third party service will be less efficient. Reliant's experience using Verifent has proven that to not be the case. We have found the customer service and efficiency of Verifent to be an asset to both Reliant and the lenders working with our employees. If your lender is frustrated with registering or accessing their completed VOE + Income report, please encourage them to reach out to Verifent's customer service for assistance. Your lender will need to visit www.verifent.com, click on the verifier section, and the register button. Registering is a one-time event and does not take long to complete. The registration confirmation of the lender (verifier) by Verifent is usually completed within a few hours. After registering, your lender (the verifier) will then be able to submit the verification of employment + income request. To submit the request they'll need to know Reliant’s Organizational Code: AEFD5D, as well as the Reliant employee's date-of-birth, last four digits of the employee's Social Security Number, and proof of consumer consent for any verification including income information. |

A third party verifier is an employment and income verification service that assists employers with the process of securely reporting employee’s (consumer’s) employment and/or income to credentialed verifiers. It allows credentialed verifiers with a valid Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) Permissible Purpose quick access to verification of employment + income requests through a streamlined website and customer service team dedicated to assisting all parties involved in the reporting process. The normal time for a verification of employment + income request takes to complete is usually 2-3 business days, from the point the verifier (lender) submits a request until Reliant completes the request. There are times we can "rush' requests when the lender/verifier contacts Verifent and requests a rush response. Important Note: The Reliant office is open M-F 8:30 AM EST - 5:30 PM EST. We are closed on major holidays as well as a few additional holidays throughout the year. We kindly ask that verifiers/lenders make their requests in a timely manner for us to be able to complete these requests within our normal business hours of operation. |

Verbal: Lenders may directly contact the Reliant employee's liaison if they are in need of a verbal confirmation of the following information: hire date, status (actively employed), and job title. The contact information for the liaisons is listed below. |

Email/Letter: If a written confirmation is needed, the lender may work with the liaison to receive an email confirmation or letter on Reliant company letterhead specifying the employee's hire date, title, and accepted annual salary/pay rate. Verifent website: Lenders (verifiers) may submit a Verification of Employment request through the Verifent website (www.verifent.com). The Verifent website service assesses a nominal fee, so it is up to the preference of the lender and the urgency of the request that may determine which of these options is the most efficient for their needs. The information provided by Verifent will include the employees hire date and status (actively employed). |
