One of Reliant's missions is to help with project support raising for local churches and ministries that they are partnered with. The Reliant has a church and project fundraising process that could be a helpful solution to your church or ministry.  

Your Your local church or ministry may realize a need to raise ministry funds for expenses such as start-up costs for a new church plant, special outreach events, or even unplanned facility and maintenance needs or other ministry expenses that are not able to be covered through an annual operating budget. One of Reliant's missions is to support local churches and ministries that they are partnered with. These funds can be also used to provide support for a worker at your local church or ministry. Established Reliant partners are eligible to submit a request for a new project fund.Project , or even provide stipends to a foreign national for an overseas project. However, church and project funds are always in a ministry's name, never an individual's. However, project funds can be raised and used as salary support for a worker at your local church or ministry. 

Church/Project fund monies Ministry Project funds can be raised to be used for:

  1. Fund Transfers to any staff Reliant worker MTD ministry account or another project account (see this Solomon page for information and the form).
  2. Funding of the reimbursement of ministry expenses (see this Solomon page for some guidelines). This reimbursement option is limited to Reliant employees only who are eligible for our Accountable Reimbursement Plan./associates only. See Reimbursements vs. Grants for more details. 
  3. Ministry Grants to cover project or program expenses ministry expenses or monthly stipend support. You can request a special one-time grant or a monthly ongoing ministry grant, whichever might fit the funding need at that time. See Grant Process to get started

Request a Project Fund

Established Reliant partners are eligible to submit a request for a new Reliant church/project fund to establish a new restricted fund for receiving donations. Creation and maintenance of all project fund numbers go through a scrutiny process by the Reliant Board or the Executive Management Committee of the Board of DirectorsReliant management.   • Details about the church or ministry requesting the fund, such as governance, goals and legal information
  • Details about the fund being requested and oversight of the finances
