The 401(k) Plan has over 20 different investment options for you to choose how your money is invested. You can personally select your investment funds through your Principal account or choose to allow investments to be selected for you. If you currently contribute, but have not elected an investment direction, contributions will be directed to a Principal Trust Target Date LifeTime Hybrid Fund based on your current age and the Normal Retirement Date as stated in the Plan, unless you direct otherwise.

Principal Trust Target Date LifeTime Hybrid Funds are the default investment option for Reliant's 401(k) Plan with Principal. These funds are managed by Principal with risk and diversity based on your expected retirement date.

Guidestone - Specialty Investment Option
Guidestone Funds are an investment option for 401(k) participants that desire Bible-based responsible investing. This investment option is similar to the Timothy Funds which were previous offered. Reliant has partnered with Guidestone as our Domestic medical insurance provier provider for many years. Over those years we have built a trusting relationship with Guidestone, which has led us to enhance our connection connection by offering a selected number of their investment funds within our 401(k) Plan. The 401(k) investment committee believes Guidestone Funds provide a reliable balance of faith-based values in their investment strategy combined with a solid track record of market performance. Therefore, Reliant will be re-allocated allocating our funds from the Timothy investments into similar investments with Guidestone Funds.

Timothy Plan Funds are an investment option for 401(k) participants that desire biblically responsible investing. You can find out more about Timothy Funds by visiting timothyplan.com. By selecting one of these investment options through Principal, your money will automatically be invested for you in pre-selected funds.
