Many of the tips for your first phone call also apply here.
- Call the person when you said you would. Put the names and times of those to be called back in your schedule.
- If you did not set a specific time, the “Golden Hours” are still the best time to reach someone.
- Have your notes and calendar handy.
- Stand while you make your calls.
- Consider using a hands-free headset.
- Take a deep breath and relax before dialing the phone.
- Pray briefly before you dial.
- Get straight to the point. You do not need to establish a great deal of rapport. They know why you are calling.
