It will be important to set very clear monthly goals and standards.

For example, Ricky Resident is one of the people you are coaching. In your first or second individual call, you will get a clear understanding of how many hours are available for MTD, and then you will set weekly goals off of that availability. If Ricky Resident has 20 hours a week to give in Feb, you would set weekly standards like 30-40 connection attempts, 4-5 appointments, with 5 one time gift asks (letters or in person). It will then be very important to hold Ricky Resident accountable to those standards throughout the month. You will then reassess goals monthly. There is going to be a balance you will walk between setting realistic goals and also tracking their progress and making goals that will help them get to 100% by the start of the residency program. You might have to really push Ricky Resident to give more time when it is realistic to do so.
