This opportunity is due to the miscommunication that there was no co-pay for ER visits on the HS1500 and HS3000 plans. We were Reliant was recently informed there is a $250 co-pay for ER visits. This $250 co-pay (incurred for every ER visit throughout the year) does not count towards an employee's deductible or out-of-pocket maximum.
