Reliant helps eligible employees insure against the potential catastrophic expense of major medical care as well as coverage for routine medical care by providing a group health plan. Full-time employees or those working 30 or more hours per week are eligible and required to participate in the group health plan unless they have a allowable waiver reason (Waiver form PDF). Eligible employees are also able to enroll their eligible dependents. Part-time employees who average less than 30 hours per week are not eligible to participate in the group health plan. Questions about specific coverage or conditions may be found in the employee's certificate of group insurance provided by the insurance carrier or by calling the insurance company directly.
