| Once a year, Reliant missionaries and supervisors evaluate their jobs and review their performances. After evaluations are completed, Reliant Missionary Resources works together with supervisors to set updated salaries for the coming year. |
Salary Setting
The Reliant board has approved a 3% raise for all Reliant missionaries for 2018. If a missionary seems to warrant an additional salary increase, Mike Swann, Missionary Resources director, will discuss that with your church/ministry leadership during a compensation review conversation in November.

Missionary staff levels and salaries will be determined by several key factors. To determine the Ministry Level, we consider scope and burden of responsibility, formal training and years of experience related to the role. New salaries are based on these factors, as well as cost-of-living factors (inflation and geography) and job performance. Please be sure to indicate when the opportunity for additional salary increases exist in the evaluation. The types of things to note include:

Dates to keep in mind
October 1 - November 1: Evaluations – Complete an Evaluation of each of your Reliant missionaries and submit by sharing with Agustina.Karpiuk@reliant.org.
- November 1: Deadline for Reliant to receive your evaluations.
- November 1-30: Compensation Review conversations between Mike Swann and local supervisors.
- November 22: Deadline for scheduling an appointment with Mike Swann for the Compensation Review.
- Reliant will send out a follow-up email in November to schedule this time. Please reach out to Agustina.Karpiuk@reliant.org at any time to get this on your calendar.
- December 15: Compensation Notices go out to missionaries.
- January 15: Deadline for missionaries to accept new salaries.
