- the parent is single or you are married and filing jointly. (Maximum allowed benefit is $2,500 if there are two parents who are
- $2500 if you are single or married and filing separately. )
- the combined income of the parent(s) is not less than $5000Maximum reimbursement cannot exceed either parents individual income.
