Defining a Coaching Bonus

Reliant offers a coaching bonus for supported missionaries who provide MTD Coaching that is above and beyond their job description and beyond their current responsibilities.

When a Bonus is Offered

Many churches make room within a missionary's role for them to be MTD Coaches; it becomes part of their job description. Some churches do not include this in the job description, so coaching happens as an addition; above and beyond their normal work hours. For those situations, Reliant offers a reimbursable Coaching Bonus as compensation for this additional ministry activity. There are 4 different hourly amounts offered for coaching bonuses:

Hourly Amounts

• $15/hour for new coaches working with missionaries within their church/ ministry.
• $20/hour for new coaches working with missionaries outside of their church/ ministry.
• $25/hour for seasoned coaches working with missionaries within their church/ ministry.
• $30/hour for seasoned coaches working with missionaries outside of their church/ ministry.

For the purposes of determining whether a missionary is outside of the church/ ministry, the missionary must be working at an assignment location that is different from the MTD Coach. In the case that missionary was in the same church as the MTD Coach, but then the church sends the missionary to a new assignment location, the missionary will then be considered outside of the church for the purposes of the MTD Coaching Bonus.Questions regarding this policy should be directed toward user-1a794, Missionary Mobilization Manager. 

Requesting a Coaching Bonus

To submit a bonus request, send the Coaching Bonus form to HR@reliant.org
