Logging in

About your Reliant email

  • This your official email address for Reliant. We use it to verify your identity, so you must use it to send information to us (benefits, pay, policies, etc.)
  • You are responsible for information sent here.
  • Many field staff will also use a local church address for ministry. Great!
  • Which address should you use for MTD? It's your choice. Based on your mission, either your @local ministry or @Reliant address works well to communicate with donors. It's not recommended to use a personal address (e.g. cardinalsfan6@aol.com).

How to use multiple email accounts

  • See all your email in the same inbox, but your accounts stay separate

  • Send messages from any account
  • Easy to set up on different platforms.

Check Accounts Separately

  • If you choose this option, make sure to check your Reliant email so you don't miss important information.

Forward all accounts to a primary inbox

  • Forwards emails received by your Reliant email address to a different account.

We don't recommend this option because it does have a few disadvantages:

  • It permanently puts messages in one inbox (and this can't be undone).
  • It only forwards new mail.
  • You need to set up your "Send As" feature so you can send as Reliant.org when needed. This is difficult to do with Google right now.

Reliant Username

We have created (or changed, if you had a GCMID Reliant username before) a ReliantID Reliant username on your behalf: firstname.lastname@reliant.org (same as the email address you just set up).

Note

Although your ReliantID login Reliant username is the same as your email login, it's important to note that your Reliant.org email and ReliantID Reliant username are two separate things and can have different passwords. Your Reliant email gives you access to your email and Google Drive. Your ReliantID Reliant username gives you access to www.mygcm.org and Staffnet.
