titleHow do I guide a donor through giving by check?
  • For all checks sent by mail, please ensure the donor does the following:

    • Make checks payable to Reliant
    • Ask the donor to write your name, (or the name of the ministry, or project) and the 4-digit Fund Number
  • Checks should be mailed to:
    • Reliant, 11002 Lake Hart Dr., Ste 100, Orlando, FL 32832
  • Please encourage the donor to send checks directly to Reliant
    • If a donor sends a check to you or gives you a check (made payable to Reliant), please forward the check (and envelope) onto Reliant

  • Make sure the check is filled out correctly, to includes the following information:
    • check is made payable to Reliant
    • the donor has listed your name (or the name of the ministry, or project) and 4-digit Fund Number on the memo line
  • Mail the check to:

  • Encourage your donor to send future checks directly to Reliant

titleWhat should I do if the donor makes the check out to me personally?
  • If possible, ask the donor to write another check, made payable to Reliant
  • If that option is not possible, complete the following steps:
    • You'll need to deposit the funds into your bank account
    • Obtain a money order or cashier's check
    • Mail the cashier's check or money order to Reliant:
      • Reliant, 11002 Lake Hart Dr, Ste 100, Orlando, FL 32832

Money orders

You can usually

The money order should be made payable to Reliant Mission

Here’s how to complete it correctly:

  • if the Pay To space is blank, you may hand write Reliant Mission
  • list Reliant's address:
    • Pay To: Write Reliant in the "Pay To" field. If it’s blank, you may handwrite the name.

    • Address: Include the Reliant's mailing address:

    titleCan a donor send a check from a non-US bank??
    •  Reliant can accept international checks only in the following currencies:
      • Canadian dollar (CAD)
      • British pound (GBP)
      • Euro (EUR)
    • If a donor's check is in any other currency, please advise them to make their gift online, using a credit card
    • For large gifts or if the donor prefers not to give by credit card, please ask the donor contact Donor Services via email at donor.services@reliant.org to explore alternative payment options
