Reliant provides a comprehensive package of insurance coverage for any situation that one of our international employees may face.

Medical Insurance premiums (including Aetna/Guidestone/short-term travelers insurance) are paid from a worker's MTD account.

Employer premiums (Chubbs, AIG, and RSLI) are covered by the Employment Insurances fee in the Support Goal Worksheet.

Below is a brief summary of these benefits. Additionally, in the event of a crisis abroad, Reliant partners with Concilium, a leading Christian crisis management organization, to make sure employees have the best support possible.

Aetna International:

When enrolled in our Aetna medical plan, employees and their families will have access to medical treatment no matter where they are in the world. Medical treatment outside of the US is not subject to a deductible being met and will be covered at 100%.

In the event that an employee passed away due to a medical emergency while overseas, Aetna will cover the cost of repatriation of remains.

Chubbs Insurance:

Chubbs provides coverage for work-related incidents (as opposed to personal medical treatments).

All Reliant employees and volunteers receive some coverage under our Chubbs Insurance when traveling outside the United States (not including Puerto Rico/Canada) for official Reliant work. Additionally, this policy provides a more extensive worker's comp benefit for employees.

Reliant employees may will also receive some benefits coverage for non-work related injuries while abroad.

Chubb also provides coverage in the event of a political emergency that required evacuation or repatriation of remains.

AIG:

When an international employee is traveling in the US, they are covered under AIG's Travel and Accident policy for work-related incidents. This does not apply to personal medical expenses.

Any employee enrolled in a national plan (not Aetna) should purchase supplementary medical coverage when traveling to the United States.

RSLI:

Reliant Emloyees receive multiple benefits under RSLI, including Group Life Insurance, Long-term Disability, and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance.

Employees may also elect for additional Voluntary Life Insurance through RSLI.

Travel Assistance:

Chubbs, AIG and RSLI all offer Travel Assistance services.

Stateside Employees:

Employees who reside stateside and are covered by Reliant's Guidestone policy, will be covered under Guidestone's Global Core for medical treatment when traveling internationally. Stateside employees will also be covered under the Chubbs policy for work-related incidents overseas, and a separate worker's comp plan when working within the United States.
