All courses are web-based, include quizzes, and do not need to be completed in one session. The majority of these courses will be completed on LEARN. Find out more about LEARN.

For new staff, training will take about 3.5 hours. For new staff who are in supervisor or leadership roles, there will be additional training that will take about 3 hours and will include modules specifically for managers on preventing sexual harassment and discrimination in the workplace.

For most existing staff, annual training will take just over 2 hours. Supervisors and leaders will take about 3 hours.

Existing Staff: These courses are accessed via a link that will be emailed to you. 

  1. Once you click on the link and log in with your Reliant email and password, you will see a list of available courses on the bar to the left. Please select the course titled: Sexual Abuse Awareness Training. 
  2. All staff may also take the Skillful Screening but it is not required. You can take this course by requesting enrollment from hr@reliant.org.
  3. Training videos are designed to be completed at each trainee’s pace. You may close the page entirely and return to the point you previously paused. However, the Ministry Safe system does not save the point that you last completed. Before closing the page, please make note of your ‘spot’ (example: Section 4, 15:45). To return to the training, click on the unique link that was initially emailed to you from MinistrySafe.
  4. MinistrySafe will track the completion of each course. You will receive an email from MinistrySafe providing you with a completion certificate. This certificate is for your records. MinistrySafe will notify Reliant that you have completed the course so there is no need to notify Reliant or send in your certificate.

Existing Staff for Annual Required Education: this course is accessed via LEARN. 

  1. You will receive an email from learn@reliant.org once you have been enrolled in this course.
  2. Once you log in, scroll down to the "My Courses" section of your dashboard.
  3. Find the course titled: Harassment & Discrimination Prevention, and click, "Start".
  4. Training videos are designed to be completed at each trainee’s pace. You may close the page entirely and return to the course to complete it at a later time if needed. To return to the training, log back into LEARN with your Reliant credentials. Go back to "My Courses" and select "resume" on the training you need to complete.
  5. In the middle of the course, you will be asked if you're a Supervisor or Leader. If you answer yes, you will complete the Quelling Misconduct portion of the course for your Annual Required Education to be complete. This will take an additional 45 minutes.
  6. LEARN will track the completion of each course so you will not need to notify Reliant.
